Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This policy explains what data Mexillicious collects, and what it does not. It covers two separate things: this website, and the Mexillicious Social Calendar — the internal application we use to plan and publish our own content.

The short version: this website collects nothing about you. No accounts, no tracking, no advertising cookies, no analytics. Our publishing application only ever touches our own social media accounts, never anyone else's.

1. This website

Mexillicious.com is a static informational website. It has no user accounts, no sign-up, no comment system, and no e-commerce checkout. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not operate any third-party tracking scripts on these pages.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and requested page) for security and reliability purposes, as essentially all web hosts do. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share them.

2. If you contact us

If you email us — a story tip, a partnership enquiry, a correction request — we receive whatever you choose to put in that message, including your email address. We use it only to reply to you and to follow up on what you raised. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or pass on your contact details.

You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time by replying to the same thread.

3. The Mexillicious Social Calendar application

Mexillicious Social Calendar is a private, internal tool. It is not a public product: there is no sign-up, and no one outside our own operation can create an account or log in.

Its only purpose is to let us plan our own content and publish it to our own social media channels. It connects, using each platform's official API and standard OAuth authorization, to:

In every case the account being connected is one we own and operate. The application does not request access to other people's accounts, does not read other users' content, does not collect follower or audience data about individuals, and has no mechanism for a third party to connect an account to it.

4. What the application stores, and where

The application runs on hardware we control. The data it holds is limited to:

Those tokens grant access only to the accounts we own. They are not shared with any third party, and revoking the app's access from within your platform settings immediately ends its ability to post.

5. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Third-party services

Publishing to a social platform necessarily sends the post we have written — video, image, caption — to that platform, where that platform's own privacy policy and terms then apply. We link to social platforms and to our shop from this website; once you follow one of those links, you are on their site and subject to their policies, not ours.

7. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request relating to your data, can be sent to contact@mexillicious.com.
