Mexillicious is an independent Latino news and culture channel. Every day we research what's actually happening across the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America, and turn it into short-form video worth your time.
Music, food, film, fútbol, language, family, and the traditions that travel with us. The parts of Latino life that don't make the evening news but shape every day of it.
Reporting you can act on. What a policy change actually means for your family, what's behind a headline, and what's worth knowing before someone else tells you what to think about it.
Latinos are not one story. We cover the whole of it — across countries, generations, and borders — and put a spotlight on the people showing up for each other.
About
Mexillicious started from a simple frustration: Latino stories are either missing from mainstream coverage or flattened into a single narrative when they do appear. There are 60+ million Latinos in the United States alone, and no one channel speaks for all of them — but a lot more of the story could be told than currently is.
So we tell it. Every morning we research what's moving across Latino news, culture, sports, and politics — in the U.S., in Mexico, and across Latin America — and we publish the stories that matter in a format people actually watch.
Everything we make is measured against the three pillars on our logo: Culture, Knowledge, Unity. If a story doesn't serve at least one of them, we don't run it.
Coverage
Our daily research pass spans these areas. Some days that's a policy decision out of Washington; some days it's a Little League team from Tijuana.
Channels
Short-form video daily, plus longer pieces when a story deserves the room.
